In my batik workshop, you will learn the traditional technique using the original canting tool. Following an introduction to Javanese culture and the meaning of selected batik patterns, you will develop your own design and bring it to life step by step.

From the initial sketch to the finished textile, you will experience the entire creative process. At the end of the workshop, you will take home your own unique artwork – a lasting keepsake that you have created yourself.

The relief printing technique offers a wide range of possibilities for bringing graphic ideas to life and experimenting with textures, shapes, and lines.

Discover the unique expressive power of line, form, and contrast. In this workshop, you will learn the fundamentals of linocut printmaking and develop your own design. Step by step, you will be guided through the creative process – from the initial sketch and carving the block to the finished print.
